This is our last morning in the Grand Tetons so we spent the time cleaning up and getting ourselves organized. We will be on the road for two days and will then arrive in Spokane, Washington. David's youngest son, Jason, will be flying there to join us for ten days. We'll travel to Olympic National Park and down the Washington and Oregon coasts. What fun to have Jason join us.
Today I have posted a few different photos of the Grand Tetons. The top one is at Mormon Row. The second one is from the top of Signal Mountain overlooking Jackson Lake. The third one is from below Oxbow Bend at Cattleman's Crossing. This is a beautiful valley where we watched a bull Elk with his group of females and we enjoyed looking at the colorful leaves on the trees. They filmed the movie Spencer's Mountain in this area. The last photo is another sunrise at Oxbow Bend. I hope you have enjoyed some of the sights we have seen. We hope to return someday to the Grand Tetons. We know we missed so much by just driving through. Eight days is the minimum we will stay next time.
